Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American singer, actress, and writer who is best recognized as Ginger Grant from the TV show Gilligan's Island. The musical Bettle performed in Two's Company was her first stage performance in the 1950s. She then acted in numerous Broadway performances before she was the most famous on stage with Li'l Abner in 1957. The singer also released her debut music album It's Time for Tina during the same year. Louise started with her Hollywood career in 1958, as she played Griselda Walden in God's Small Acre, a drama film. It was an enormous hit and Louise received her the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. When she was an undergraduate of Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. Her next role that she portrayed in the role of Ginger Grant, which CBS was the first to sign her on for in 1964. Louise had a long and successful career balancing Broadway television with Hollywood as well as portraying a more serious, as opposed to the glamour doll image she was perceived. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Sanctuary however she also made a mark as an accomplished television director on various series like Supernatural and The 100. Her birth date was the 28th of August, 1965, in Essex. When she was 3years old, her family moved her to Toronto which is where she spent the majority of in the city for her entire childhood. Following her selection for the role as Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997. She has lived there from then on.
