Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American designer and author who has won numerous awards for her work. She has been a vocal advocate for human rights for animals. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway 72 are among her most acclaimed films. She was raised by an artist family from New York and wanted to explore a career in the art. Her first job was as a photography assistant and after that she moved on to modeling and acting. She won an award called the Golden Globe Award in 1990 as a promising young actress. MacGraw's 1970 feature film Love Story was an international smash, and earned her the Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. MacGraw was deemed the top box office star in the world in just three films. In 1972, the Grauman's Chinese Theater signed her name as well as foot prints, hand prints, and footprints in the year 1972. Alongside The Getaway Convoy Players she also starred in the television miniseries The Winds of War. Moving Pictures is her autobiography released in 1991. MacGraw has been married 3 times.
